Zara Man's 2016 Fall/Winter Campaign

Zara has been under fire as of late for “plagiarizing” designs from other artists – some motifs the company used looked similar to that of Tuesday Bassen’s work and a recent collection strangely resembled Kanye West’s Yeezy line. Nevertheless, the fast-fashion giant moves on and now we get a glimpse of their men’s collection for the 2016 fall/winter season. In this campaign, we see Zara sticking to what it does best – high-end looking staples that won’t break your budget. Although shot in black and white, the spread does a good job showcasing some of the outerwear offerings the label will shortly be releasing — boiled-wool top coats, shearling-trimmed leather jackets, denim pieces, and a few bombers. The suits and knits are also something to watch out for in the coming months.

Versus Versace 2015 Fall/Winter Collection

Having been firmly seated atop fashion’s pecking order for almost 40 years, much of Versace’s story is rooted in a certain sense of familial legacy. 2015 has seen a bit of changing of the guards across the industry as a whole, with the Versus Versace imprint being the latest brand to adopt a new creative director. The label called on renowned designer Anthony Vaccarello for the job, who here debuts his inaugural collection for Versus Versace. The collection is informed by a youthful flair, which is embodied through rebellious, military-inspired silhouettes and detailing. Simultaneously, Vaccarello also makes use of tartan plaids on kilts and slim-legged trousers to create a versatile punk aesthetic. Designed by the Diesel Black Gold creative team, the watch – which perfectly combines functionality and aesthetics – has a captivating rock-chic look. The elegant and minimal round face features the iconic Diesel logo in gold, while the black strap is crafted out of high-end embossed leather. The crystal is slightly domed, bringing a touch of sophistication to the watch. The classic round case measures 42 millimeters in diameter, with a high-tech Swiss quartz mechanism and a date display beside the number “3.”
