Jinil Park Hand-Drawn Furniture

Creating a bridge between artistic dimensions, artist Jinil Park has created a series of “Drawing Furniture,” which produces three-dimensional, functional furniture designed to appear as a 2D illusion. With an aesthetic that pulls from simple line-based rough sketches, the collection uses distorted wire to appear as hand-drawn strokes and scribbles on paper, and the result is a selection of interior design art with a rough and raw visual appeal. Currently, the “Drawing Furniture Series” includes a chair, table, and a lamp – which can be viewed above – with further information available at designboom.
