2014 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT Final Edition

As Mercedes-Benz says goodbye to the SLS, the German automotive giant’s speedy luxury tourer gets a swan song in the form of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT Final Edition. Featuring the 2014 SLS’s standard front-mounted engine – a 6.3 liter V8 capable of 591 hp – the GT Final Edition is set apart thanks to a bold candy red paint scheme, redesigned front bumper, new rear wing and brakes, and carbon fiber applications throughout. Limited to just 350 production units, the 2014 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT Final Edition will make its public debut later this month at the Los Angeles and Tokyo Motor Shows. Next year, the SLS will be replaced with the codenamed “C190″ – likely wearing the “SLC” moniker upon production and a smaller vehicle featuring a newly developed 4.0 liter twin-turbo V8 rated at 493 bhp.
