Volvo XC90

Volvo has unveiled the 2015 XC90, after twelve years of development since the first model’s release back in 2002. The standard XC90 offers a 2.0 liter turbocharged and supercharged engine with all-wheel driving that generates 316 horsepower. Customers can also upgrade Twin Engine plug-in hybrid add-on, which produces an astonishing 400 horsepower, for a more powerful and greener ride.

The exterior styling has received a modern update yet remains familiar up front, whereas the interior has undergone a complete makeover — replacing cluttered buttons on the dashboard with an infotainment touchscreen as the centerpiece. Swathes of leather and wood implement an element of luxury to the design with handcrafted details like the crystal-glass gear level and diamond cut designs for the starter button and volume controls. The exclusive vehicle will be available for pre-order starting September 3rd and is due for release in early Spring next year.
