If you are looking for that perfect Greek island with a balance of beautiful beaches, low-key nightlife, white Cycladic villages, low-impact tourism and maybe the best food in the Cyclades, then look no further than Sifnos, where I have been coming for over thirty years. Just three hours from Athens by High-speed or five hours by normal ferry, Sifnos is easy to get to and you may never want to leave. Most people who visit Sifnos return again and many make it a yearly sojourn, while some go as far as to buy houses here and call it home.
I consider myself very lucky for being Greek. Traveling all the time is hard but I am trying to visit my spend each summer a few weeks or more in the Greek islands.The climate in the summer is very warm so you need to pack light. Also you should consider that the atmosphere in the islands is laid back so casual clothing is a must. But for my more dressing looks I am choosing a couple of lightweight suits and comfortable shoes that I can wear all day long and explore every corner of those islands. This season unfortunately I couldn't attend Milan Fashion Week. But I kept myself updated about the new collections and all the gossips as well.
Santoni's new collection really impressed me for once more! An idea of cheerful elegance, looking at the Seventies. The Santoni s/s 18 collection is light: in both the shapes and the workmanship, not to mention the subtly irreverent spirit. It is pervaded by a hedonistic yet subtle atmosphere that emphasizes the artisanal DNA of the house giving new impetus and unexpected nonchalance. Precious materials and attention to detail are the fil rouge that stitches together diverse elements to celebrate the defining Santoni values.
Stories and ideas mingle and mix. The masculine staples, from lace-ups to sneakers, turn into archetypes made of lightweight natural leather. The virtuosity of the intrecciato, so typical of Santoni, characterizes both the formal double monkstraps with fringes or in the informal yet sophisticated flip-flops. Patchwork patterns create color and texture modulations. The classic Clean, in white or black crocodile, becomes essential and precious, while total white defines the new urban staples. The world of boating meets the elegance of the city in the leather top siders and in the large bags. Crocodile gains an unprecedented shabby patina. Even patent leather, an after-dark must, is interpreted lightly, in sleek and tapered shapes.
The color palette is classic and timeless: black, brown, natural leather, white, blue. Materials are precious: brushed calf, crocodile, patent leather, aged calf with shiny patinas.
This season the collection will be unveiled to the public during an exquisitely Italian experience: a breakfast in a café, complete with cappuccino and croissant, inside the Royal Palace of Milano. Visitors will be greeted at Bar Tiptoe, where coffee and brioches are as shiny like a pair of lace-ups and double monkstraps are as succulent as a bignè. The project, conceived and curated by Angelo Flaccavento and Antonio Pippolini, is introduced by a subtly humorous menu that celebrates the Italian art of living with playful irreverence.

Summer is officially here!
Lately I am in the mood to add some color in my wardrobe, and I find myself searching street styles with bright colored clothes. I find them so appropriate for summer and so posh.
Combining bright colors is quiet tricky though and you will have to be very careful especially in the accessories that you will go for. Try to choose neutral colors for your shoes and your sunglasses, otherwise you will end looking funny.
Finally be careful and pick maximum 2 bright colors to come up with this look. Adding more colors is risky.
Summertime is all about having fun, why don't we all start having more fun with our clothes too?

Milan Fashion Week Day 3 was nothing else than fun!! Fashion and well dressed people is quiet typical for Milan.

Hello everyone!! A few days ago i had the chance to attend Milan Fashion Week and to be a part of well designed and executed fashion shows such as Etro, Missoni, Vivienne Westwood, Canali, Diesel Black Gold, Philipp Plein, Daks London and of course amazing presentations like Santoni Shoes, Bally and Ralph Lauren.
The outfit i chose for day 1 was from Hackett London and my shoes of course from Santoni.
This season Santoni exits the boutique of via Montenapoleone to occupy the beautiful spaces of Palazzo Bocconi with an installation conceived by Patrick Kinmonth and Antonio Monfreda visionary duo of curators and creative directors, authors of sensational multi-sensory interventions. For Santoni they imagined a dialogue between past and present, tradition and innovation. A collection of collages gathered in a great book of alchemic flavor and it was the protagonist of the presentation. A video in which shoes move in a dream like dimension is also available.
During Paris Fashion Week i had the opportunity to shoot my new favorite pair of shoes. And its nothing else than a pair of classic monk shoes by Santoni.
