Driving Debut: Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo
Unveiled earlier this fall to kick off the 2012 Paris Motor Show, Porsche presents a further look at its highly-anticipated Panamera Sport Turismo.
Uniting the sportiness of the German luxury automobile manufacturer’s
iconic designs with the functionality of the station wagon, the concept
vehicle boasts parallel supercharged 3-liter V6 and lithium-ion
battery-powered engines capable of 335 horsepower and a top speed of 130
km/h in fully-electric mode. Here, we get to see the car in action for
the first time as General Manager of Advanced Design Style, Mitja
Borkert, and Porsche Design Studio Chief Designer, Michael Mauer, touch
on the intricacies of the vehicle while Wolfgang Hatz, Member of the
Executive Board of Research and Development at Porsche AG, shares
Porsche’s responsibility to the environment and the realization of that
commitment, as well as Porsche’s emphasis on a superior driving
experience, in the Panamera Sport Turismo.
